Spotlight on the Pacific Northwest: Wrestling in British Columbia, Past, Present and Future

In a seminar 're-scheduled' from our 2021 reunion, the Cauliflower Alley Club is pleased to, once again, present a Learning Series event that many are looking forward to, "Spotlight on the Pacific Northwest: Wrestling in British Columbia, Canada, Past, Present and Future".
This seminar, will be devoted to the wrestling action on Canada's west coast, specifically, the province of British Columbia and the province's biggest city, Vancouver.
Touching on the earliest days of professional wrestling in BC promoted by Rod Fenton under the banner of Big Time Wrestling and continuing on through the famed All Star Wrestling era of Sandor Kovacs, Gene Kiniski and Al Tomko. The Indy's that currently run the province of BC will also be discussed. This is a Learning Series event that is bound to be both informative and entertaining.
Our panelists for this group chat have a wealth of wrestling knowledge of everything that is British Columbia wrestling. They've lived it. They've loved it, and they are ready to share their stories and experiences for all CAC members.
Panelists:
"The Texas Outlaw" Bobby Bass: worked the territory from 1977 -1979.
Michelle Starr: Worked the territory from 1988-2017. He has promoted in BC since 1991.
Kevin Jefferies: Referee, wrestler and agent since 1977. This year's CAC Charlie Smith Referee Award honoree.
Greg Lake: Worked the territory in 1979.
Fidel Sierra: Worked the territory in the early 1980's.
Stuart Kemp: Announcer, referee, wrestler 1986-2003
Raven Lake: Wrestler, referee 1993-present.
Nick Szalanski: Promoter, THRASH Wrestling, promoting pro-wrestling in the interior of British Columbia ( Penticton, Vernon, Kelowna, Kamloops and the Okanagan Valley) since 2008.
Riea Von Slasher: 2023 CAC inaugural Independent Wrestling Award winner. Twenty-year veteran of the Indy scene, based in British Columbia and co-owner of Vancouver Island Pro-Wrestling.
Moderated by Vance Nevada: EAR editor, author, wrestler, historian and 2010 James C. Melby Historian Award honoree.
