Presenter Matthew MK Roblez is a civil engineer by day, MK Bandit at night

Join us at the Cauliflower Alley Club's 58th annual reunion from August 19-21 at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas, where Matthew K. Roblez, known in the Indy wrestling world as "The MK Bandit," will host an illuminating seminar on "Character Development and Promos."

In this engaging session, Roblez will unravel the intricacies of creating compelling characters in professional wrestling. Before wrestlers can embody their personas, they must grasp the fundamental psychology of faces (heroes) and heels (villains). Roblez will explore the unconscious motivations driving fans' reactions and the importance of instantly conveying character traits to the audience. The seminar will also compare method acting to classical acting, highlighting the nuances of each approach in wrestling.

Participants will gain valuable insights into the art of the promo, a critical element of wrestling that involves delivering powerful and persuasive promotional interviews. Roblez will cover various types of promos, offering tips on how to make them effective and impactful.

Matthew "MK" Roblez is celebrated on the independent wrestling scene from Utah to Las Vegas, NV and all points in between, managing talents such as former Learning Series presenter and fellow club member Sam Adonis "The Most Hated Man in Mexico", Beastman, and Bully Ray. He has also appeared on Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore wrestling at the famed ECW Arena in Philadelphia and has, most recently been spotted hanging out with MIssy Hyatt. Beyond the ring, "MK" stands for "Mary Kay," reflecting his successful four-year stint as a Mary Kay consultant. He is also a key member of the ESPN 700 radio broadcast team, covering University of Utah football and basketball games since 1999.

Professionally, Roblez is the principal owner of McNeil Engineering in Sandy, Utah. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and is a board-certified and licensed structural engineer.
