The Cauliflower Alley Club is pleased to announce that this year's Independent Wrestling Award will be going to St. Louis local wrestling legend,
"The Night Train" Gary Jackson.
Gary first started attending matches at Wrestling at the Chase when he was fifteen years old, when Mickey Garagolia would sneak him in due to being under age. He knew at an early age, Professional Wrestling was his calling.
Even in the Military he showed his wrestling skills. He's been on the big stage of WWWF, WCW, NWA and others. To see some of his matches just Google his name.
Gary has a reputation of not aging. Others in the business joke with him about his never changing look. His attitude, and professionalism for our business is top- notch. He gained the nickname "Night Train" from the late Bruiser Brody.
Gary is a family man first, and a professional wrestler second. He's a worker that every promoter should have in their locker room. His years of wrestling has taken him to many state's for many promotions. He's always been one that carried his gear with him. He tells the new workers, "Be Prepared".
Gary is a leader to many. He's been called, "The Gorgeous One, the Night Train", or just Gary Jackson, but I (Herb Simmons) call him a friend.
I'm honored to have been asked by Gary to do the induction ceremony for him being awarded this prestigious award this year in
Las Vegas, August 19-21st.
As a member of the CAC, Gary "Night Train" Jackson is truly deserving of this outstanding award.
The Cauliflower Alley Club, once again, congratulates "Night Train" Gary Jackson on his 2024 Independent Wrestling Award and, officially welcomes him into the "ring of friendship" at his award ceremony this August at the Plaza in Vegas.
